The beat us because half the team had an off day. Those we have relied on for so long had their poorest games in a blue shirt.
Spurs, to their credit took full advantage and that’s pretty much it.

Dear Manuel, Do you remember eight seasons ago when City beat spurs 6-0 at home and 5-1 away?Pep has worked out how to nullify the Chelsea and Liverpool systems, but he still hasn't come up with the right plan to stop Spurs. The Everton game will give us a good idea whether it was just a blip or not. Don't panic!!
Sadly I think it might be.Which makes the spurs defeat all the more annoying. Our approach was perfectly set up for Kane and Son. Oh well time to move on, try and forget it and hope this wasn't the result that changed the course of the title race.
I only just saw this but thanks mate. :)The excellent post above tells us a lot about the science, which is an art in itself, and probably trumps luck most days.
Were going to need them to get a result, Sunday is going to be a nightmare for us, last night is going to hurt and maybe fatally.Wouldn’t it be nice if just for once, Kane & Son remember how they play against us, and turn it on at Anfield?
Hypnosis is the way forward
