Probably because the purpose of the Great North Run is to raise money for charities whilst the purpose of a game of football is to get 3 points.

Still don't understand this decision when the Great North run is going ahead?

It’s a daft decision but what are we going to do? The games will get played, this season will still be ruined by the World Cup and come next season nobody will remember all it too often anyway.

I was right. You are a knob.It doesn`t bother me one iota whether games are postponed or not but this thread (way before I came on) are using it as a royalty knocking thread, its those people I`m having a dig at, as I said in my original post.

No one or at not not many l, are knocking the royalty for this decision, the PL are the ones getting all the flack.

I'm looking at it from the point that the postponed round of games could be tacked on at the end of the season, making Spurs at home our last game of the season.
