Not very constructive I know,.............. but I f'kin hate the cockney Spuds!!
Mainly stems back to the 1981 FA Cup reply, getting away from the ground especially, as it was like actually living the movie 'The Warriors' in real life .... scary shit back in the day!
Especially when I had the 'excellent' idea of parking my truck at the company warehouse in Edgeware (I had a collection from there every Thursday, which was very convenient for the match!).
It was the quietest I have ever been to this day...despite my young brother-in-law wanting to chat all the way on the tube ;-()

Curious about Tottenham’s forward line up as Son looks really off ATM on the contrary to Kulusevski and Richarlison. It looks like that for a while now, but Conte is resistant to drop him, what is quite interesting (probably justified by utmost goal of getting him back to his best). Personally I would love to see him on the bench, because of his pace and Spurs way of play against us, which is obvious and caused all sorts of problems last season.

Tottenhams attack is pretty frightening, we can't let them counter too much. Could be a high scoring game.

Hope Pep and the team saw PSG's and Barcelona's CL games this week. Great goals in each game. On Tuesday Neymar put a fantastic clipped pass in for Mbappe to smash into the net, then on Wednesday Ferran Torres volleyed in a goal from a similar move. Both came from the kind of lovely passes Yaya used to make. KDB and Gundogan should have seen these and be saying to Haaland, look I can do that, like Yosser Hughes asking for a job. Practice it today and tomorrow then repeat on Saturday.

I think Spurs will end up as our closest rivals these season. Conte usually has one big season before imploding and I think this season will be their best under him. They finished last season strongly, they play Conte’s way, they’ve backed Conte in the market and they appear to be fairly settled.

That said I hope the head to head matches don’t make much of a difference as I expect Spurs to cause us problems. They are well set up to play us, they defend well and counter effectively. Between Kane playing as a deep 10 and Son, Kulusevski and Richarlison they have players who can cause us real problems.

The test for Pep is how to set us up against a counter attacking side without Walker. If we can solve that and be in any way clinical we will win. It’s worth noting that despite having Haaland we are still not taking the right options in and around the opposition box so we need improve on that, once we do we’ll be pretty frightening.
Agree with all of this.
