Makes absolutely no sense for me. Achieves nothing and don't see how it really shows that much respect.

Tens of thousands of people in a moments silence/applause or whatever is more fitting to show respect.

It's very sad and understand will effect some more than others but to cancel leisure activities is pointless to me.

I'm rather bemused that people think others should stop activities. If you want to pay your respects by stopping everything for 10 days, fair play to you, no problem. But there's no reason to impose it on everyone else.

Fortunately, it's not your decision. The PL will act respectfully, whether it's one round of games or more, it's their decision.

I think it would be really weird to cancel sporting events. Absolutely all of them should show respect at the game, but calling it all off is too much imo.

The club. Was at what was supposed to be my final City Matters meeting when the news came through. They don't know anything for sure as yet but that's what they were saying.
