Hahah actually I was only 1 year old at the time.
I agree but either way they need to inform people. It's all a bit in limbo at the moment.FWIW I think we should play tomorrow with all of the respectful silences / National Anthem / Black armbands etc. However if we don't and it is postponed I will understand and won't be throwing my toys out of the pram or kicking off about it being a disgrace.
Either way the PL will get hammered, there’s people sat behind their keyboards right now waiting for a decision to be made so they can decide on their grievance, don’t envy the decision makers one bit, actually when you think about it theres no decision to make, this country has always been about getting up & carrying on, stiff upper lips etc, maybe this should be reiterated by our King, strong leadership & guidance and a good start to his reign
It sounds like both the govt and palace have made clear that sporting events can go ahead - and are briefing that they don't want lots of cancellations. I guess, reading the mood, they are worried about being blamed when huge amounts of people would rather just get on with their lives.Either way the PL will get hammered, there’s people sat behind their keyboards right now waiting for a decision to be made so they can decide on their grievance, don’t envy the decision makers one bit, actually when you think about it theres no decision to make, this country has always been about getting up & carrying on, stiff upper lips etc, maybe this should be reiterated by our King, strong leadership & guidance and a good start to his reign
