*Hope to God that Kompany is fit
*Hope Navas-Sane give that City v Chelsea effect. Spurs' full/wing backs would be a greater test though. Discipline and bravery would be very key
*Two DMs relentlessly screening the back three
*Choice of KDB informed by the underlying strategy to go very direct
*Don't know if the saviour is available to play. If he ain't, Aguero gets back in

.... And if Bravo is not dropped for turning his back on a shot and letting 4 in then he never will be

To be honest, things for me have gotten worse since Sunday (sometimes I do get over it!). I've not felt this 'sick' about a City situation since Billy MacNeil outsted Bobby Mac before a ball had even been kicked in Division One, Mel Machin decided to oust Paul Moulden (especially for the Stoke Away Xmas game which turned into an utter humiliation), Peter Reid decided to oust Colin Hendry (unforgiveable) - I'll never forget the Spurs FA Cup omnishambles, Joe Royle ousted Kinkladze and Kevin Keegan decided to have a pathetic spat with Eyal Berkovic. These are all examples where 'gaffer knows best' did not turn out to actually mean that 'gaffer knows best' - not by a long chalk. For me everyone of those decisions was regrettable both when they occurred and as things subsequently turned out, and now when I think about Joe Hart going out for Claudio Bravo coming in at a staggering £14M I'm thinking its a trousers down situation for the club. I mean WTF.

Accordingly, my rattle has now gone out of the pram, and my blanket will follow next if Guardiola picks Bravo for the Spurs game: I mean how bad a goalkeeper actually be before being dropped? I would normally look forward to a game of this magnitude but after the 4-in-4 Bravo fiasco on Sunday (which is not so long since the Leicester and Chelsea games) - I think it is simply not good enough to be crossing my fingers and hoping for the best: I'd rather play with a fly-keeper (Vinny) now that the Bravo flush has been well and truly busted. Sorry to be doom and gloom but Sunday is getting worse the more I think about it......

Caballero
Sagna Kompany Kolarov Clichy
Delph Fernando
KDB
Sterling Jesus Sane

Element of surprise. We can't play any worse than Sunday. Just go for it.

Would rather play Silva or Yaya over one of the unsolids.

Pretty sure Pep will persist with Bravo, though if we play as poorly as we did against Everton then it won't matter who's in goal. Really have to step up for this one and show we mean business. The players owe their manager and the fans a performance.

This is the line up I'd like to see.

....................Caballero
Sagna.....Stones...........Kompany......Clichy
..................Fernando
..........Yaya...............Silva
Sterling............................KDB
..................Aguero

And Jesus on the bench.

I'm dreading this game and I really/desperately want our lot to prove me wrong.
My heart wants 3-0 to us, but my head is screaming 1-3 To the yids.

Anyone wanting Silva & Stones to start must be on a WUM right? What the hell have those two deserved to be in the lineups?

Not a chance, Clichy will be out. If Vinny is fit he will go 3 at the back with Ota & Stones. Nando definitely in there protecting & I would want to see Sane & Sterling pushing Walker & Rose back. Toure & Silva in middle & Jesus & Aguero, pace & pass them to death. Oh I would play Willy in net Too.

Bravo, KDB,Sagna, Kolarov, Delph, Navas & Garcia.

Zaba, Kelechi & Clichy out.

Stones is arguably the worst CB at the club. I'd love to hear the arguments for including him in the team over any of Otamendi, Kolarov, Sagna or Kompany.

I'm dreading this game more than any for a good while, spuds owe us one from a few years ago when we bent them over and spanked them home and away. Anything below a 4 nil thumping will be a bonus.
