IMO, we will play 3 at the back to match them.
Bravo
Otomendi Vinny. Stones.
Fernando yaya.
Sterling. Silva. Kevin. Sane.
Sergio aguero.
Game set and match \o/
I like your team. And I'd like it with Stones in the middle.

My take on this : Spurs are a good side, but, mucho overhyped. This fantastic football machine could have the same number of points on Saturday night, as a City side, who, if you believe the media/press are in chaos, with overrated manager and ageing and underperforming players.

Add to this the abject failure of Spuds in CL, and, it makes you wonder where the negative evaluations of City and such praise for spuds are coming from. I think City can win this one :-)

We will win this game,it will be similar to Arsenal at home. Having Jesus in the squad will give everyone a lift. Bravo will also make a few standard saves look world class to keep Kane and Co at bay.

Do you really think Sane and Sterling are going to push Rose and Walker back? It's much more likely Rose and Walker will dominate them both and you'll be pinned back, with Sterling and Sane acting as defenders which would be a recipe for disaster. Rose and Walker are tailor made for the wing back role. Sane and Sterling are not wing backs. That formation will not end well.

We don't get pinned back at the etihad , Barca could'nt do it so i very much doubt your sensational champs league team will either , now run along have'nt you got gooners to wind up.

The only way we can get anything out of this game is by controlling the midfield. Simple as imo.

I don't know the solution to that, but these guys aren't Burnley.

They are a proper footballing side. I'm dreading this game.

We shouldn't worry as we are still more than a capable side. We have got to handle the extra niggle that Spurs have in their game (that is partly down to the ref doing his job).

This footballing side most seem to be shivering in their boots for went down twice to Monaco In CL and has only 4 away wins so far in PL.

After we thrash them Everton game would seem like a bad dream. :)

---------------Bravo
-------Ota Kompany Stones
Sterling----------------------Sane
--------Fernando----Delph
Silva-------Aguero-------Kevin

Forgot we had Delph , almost perfect for this game just let him loose and let him get into the likes of Ali and Erikson they won't fancy much of that after 15 minutes

Need to go for it, sure. But like every single game lately it all hinges on us taking our chances.

Take chances, get the tailwind. Miss them, frustration sets in. It's the same every time and in my mind Aguero and co are as much to blame for any recent poor result as anyone, perhaps more so.

Bravo
Otamendi Kompany Stones
Fernando Yaya
Sterling KDB Jesus Sane
Nolito

Silva probably will be in instead of Jesus to start, but I think he could be the spark we're looking for up front.

City to win 2-1, Jesus with the winner.

Neither will the Whistling Wanker. It's become a given these days that if our midfield get amongst the opposition and start dealing out what we're having to take, the red card appears. I understand what your saying, but too many refs this season have declared open season on our players and allowed opposition midfields and defences the freedom of the pitch.

I'm just hoping we don't start with both KDB and Silva, can only see our midfield being over run if we do.

First and foremost keep a clean sheet in this game, a draw is not a bad thing.

Play them on the counter by soaking some pressure and letting them have some possession.

Free up the front 3/4 to do some damage, fill it with pace. I'd be tempted to drop Sergio and go for a front three of sane, sterling and nolito with kev, dav & fernando behind.

----------------------Willy-------------------
Stones----Otamendi---Kompany---Delph
--------------Garcia-----Yaya---------------
Sterling------------KDB-------------Sane
----------------------Jesus-----------------

Stones and Delph to play as inverted fullbacks and really dominate the midfield..
That's what I'd do.
