I cant seeing it being 1-0. The lads will be gutted and hurt and will want revenge.

I’m sure they do, but rather than getting wrapped up in that, they just need to focus on getting the points. All three games against them this season have been tight affairs, and given the energy expended last night, by both sides, I anticipate nothing different.

I'm just very proud of Pep and the team, they went out swinging and the difference in quality between the two teams was very apparent.

Sometimes you need a kick in the guts and this will remind us all how far we have come together as a fanbase.

We were magnificent last night, totally invested in cheering the lads on.

Whatever it takes these remaining games, we can pick up the slack and cheer the lads to what would be an incredible treble clean sweep.
Well said, irrespective of what happened last night and irrespective of what happens in the next 5/6 games......this past few years has been incredible, and nothing or no one can take that feeling away.

whatever happens and wether we win the league or not (hopefully we do)I love the style of football we play.theres very few games I come away with that I havnt enjoyed its certainly easier taking a defeat than if we were bus parkers.i always say we cant win everything all the time but as long as we compete hard for everything I wont complain.no one can argue we havnt competed this year

Agreed. What we did miss last night was Zin making an extra man inside.

Walker did great on his side but I would go Stones and Otamendi down the middle.

Sterling will play, he's a freak of nature.

Agree abut Zinchenko

But id worry about Otto against either Son or Llrotente and id worry about Stones vs Llorente as well

I think we have to go full strength vs spurs and utd...that means Bernardo, Sterling, Kun kdb all definitely starting along with Ferna in both game. You can then pick between Leroy and David Silva.

Id also keep Laporte on as well...He has been magnificent this year besides last night. he won't make those mistakes again.

I think Pep will rotate fullbacks (Zinchenko coming back is timely as it gives us different options.

The pace of spurs and Utd on the break are where we could get hit. Neither will out play us but both teams have the ability to hurt us on the break.

Wint he next two and then Leicester becomes a very big game

6 cup finals (including the FA cup final its self - then the players have the summer to recover.

Put it behind us, reset and let's smash the remaining games. Nothing else to worry about but the league for now and a near fully fit team with Zinchenko returning.

If we come out with a domestic treble at the end of the season, beating Liverpool to the title as they record one of the highest ever points tallies, we'll all be fucking loving it and no one will care that we dropped out of the CL.

The lads just need to buckle down now and channel this disappointment into ripping apart the remaining opposition. Whats done is done, there's no point sulking about it.

Want to see a massive reaction from the players against Spurs.

Trusting we’ve learnt from the crazy week last season when we had back to back bad defeats.

Obviously won’t be same atmosphere as last night and Saturday noon kick offs are tough. This is the game the team really need our help.

Bernardo
Sterling

Subs:
Muric
Walker
Otamendi

Foden
Aguero

Sterling is the form player in the League atm so has to start. LaPorte needs to put last night behind him at the first opportunity. Sane and Fern should be fresh. De Bruyne also bang in form. Aguero and David Silva need rest.

The level Spuds have played at for the two champs league games are not the norm for them , they cannot ride their luck for a 3rd game , we know we can tear them apart and the only reason Spuds scored three is because Laporte decided to have his absolute nightmare game on the night. Not concerned about Saturday our players will be itching for revenge and hopefully are support will be in the same mood , get the game won by half time and rest a couple for the RAGS.

We have to do a better job of marking Son and limiting the space he has. He’s by far their biggest threat and his finishing is excellent. Is Sissoko out for Saturday?

Back to back league titles are at stake here.
I’m sure the lads will be gagging to put Spurs in their place.
3-0 win for City then smash them rag cnuts
