I think the first 2 are nailed and it'll be Alvarez or Grealish benched.

Easier to bench Grealish as Doku would start on the left but I think Alvarez benched gives us the option to change things.

Yea Alvarez doesn't start for me, and not just because of the reason you mentioned

Walker's pace is our insurance vs counters. Playing him high up the wing is bobbins.
And his contribution going forward is near zero.
Walker shouldn't cross the halfway line.

No Akanji or Dias together for this one. Preferably neither. Both have slipped into silly mode these last few games, Dias not been right for a while. I think it might be too early for Johnny boy, but if he does play then Dias always seems better playing with him. I just know that the defence isn't right and changes are needed one way or another. I'd also have Kovacic in if fit, Rodders needs help in there and was so below his usual excellence last night. Just get 3 points by hook or by crook.

Pretty sure Alvarez will play. He only played about 35 mins last night and changed the game with Doku

On form and availability, this is currently our strongest team, IMO.

Great time to play Spurs. They are out of form and are decimated by injuries. Son still worries me on the break so defensively we have to be much better which is whtii think Ake and Walker will definitely play.

If we can get control of the game early then I think we'll win comfortablely.If Stones is fit enough I would start him. If not this is the team I would start

Great time to play Spurs.

Well I agree with that to a point and I don't think they look half as good without Maddison who was a revelation for them until his injury

but you also have to factor in that teams get fired up for playing against us to try to prove a point, and they do have a manager that they seem to play for and who will get them revved up for this one.

I'm confident of a win but I hope we don't look at their last three games and think it's going to be a walk in the park because it could be a tough game
