I doubt Pep will do it but, I think we would play better if he drops kevin. Plays a midfield of Rodri,Gundogan and bernardo theres leadership and work rate in that midfield with control. KDB has been off these past weeks.

Front three then Haaland ,Alvarez and Grealish/foden, have Grealish or foden drop into a 10 position and provide creativity for Haaland and Alvarez utilising our two biggest clinical finishers.

Best of both worlds then you have control in midfield and a dangerous clinical attack. Grealish showed at Villa that he can be a creative player, same as foden has brilliant passing range would suit the ten position.
Doesn't have to can easily play him wide right of a front 3 doing same job mahrez does.then play foden bernardo rodri mid 3 .giving us more legs centrally

An interesting thought: Arsenals postponed game vs Everton has not been scheduled yet, meaning that Palace-United and City-Spurs are the only midweek games. If we beat both Spurs and Wolves, then we are only 2 points behind Arsenal before they play United. Points on the board are more valuable than games in hand after all. And it would put pressure on Arsenal. Its a very big IF ofcourse… But it could be the game to turn around our season. Hoping for a crazy atmosphere at the Etihad and a City 2-1 Lpool 18/19-esque performance. Its now or never Pep…

Expecting another very close game decided by small moments for either side, coin flip if it goes for us like the Chelsea league game or to oppo like the last game. I don't think either us or Spurs are good enough to really take a comfortable win here.

Good post. At times when there are a couple of issues (whilst lying second in league!!!) City fans are usually at their best. Let’s roar the lads onto 2 wins no matter how they come

Ed
Lewis Akanji Laporte Ake
Rodri
Bernardo Foden
KdB
Mahrez Haaland

Would like to see rhombus in the middle. The players can change the positions during the game. Lewis supports Rodri. Alvarez also possible on that Mahrez spot.

Okay, Spurs had their friendly yesterday and will be playing for their lives Thursday as usual. I’m predicting

City 1 - 2 Spurs
Haaland (pen) Kane 2

So, nearly at the half way point in the season. In touching distance of the top albeit with a couple of teams breathing down our necks. Not really hit top gear for a while but still second with the best goal difference and being 2nd when not playing our best is an achievement in itself. Plus some atrocious decisions against us so doing really well overall.
Arsenal haven't had their blip yet which may happen against us, hopefully twice. Time to get back on track versus spurs at the etihad with the blue army roaring us on and helping City dream of our first ever 3 titles on the run. How many times have these players and this club come up trumps when the chips were down? Loads.
City are experts on the run in. It's what we do. Livarpool have faltered. As have Chelsea. So Arse, Man Yoo & the Toon are now trying to stop the blue juggernaut. Many try but in 4 of the past 5 seasons City prevailed as premier league winners. We have the know how, we have the best players, we have the best manager but most of all we have the best fans....the best in all the world. Believe. Keep the faith. Up the blues.
