An interesting thought: Arsenals postponed game vs Everton has not been scheduled yet, meaning that Palace-United and City-Spurs are the only midweek games. If we beat both Spurs and Wolves, then we are only 2 points behind Arsenal before they play United. Points on the board are more valuable than games in hand after all. And it would put pressure on Arsenal. Its a very big IF ofcourse… But it could be the game to turn around our season. Hoping for a crazy atmosphere at the Etihad and a City 2-1 Lpool 18/19-esque performance. Its now or never Pep…

We don't need to be that good to beat a so so Spurs side but we do need more of a 90 minute performance.

The form book says we will pass it around at the back for the first half without creating a chance. Second half, we'll play at a high tempo for 10 minutes, hit the post, score a goal and then try to defend it. At which point, Son will score from a breakaway with Spurs first shot of the game. Kane will then add another 10 minutes from time to equal or beat Jimmy Greaves's record, whichever it is. We'll then spend the last 10 minutes playing it across the back with zero urgency.

Actually we dont always lose to spurs. Yes at their ground but i think last years result has clouded it for some. we actually have a pretty good record against them at the etihad under pep.

Spot on. Bring the noise. Spurs are shite, they might have beaten us last season but who cares. We have to win this, everyone needs to be fired up. If we want this title we need to show it, and that will spread through the players.
