Spurs Post Match Thread | ICC match in Nashville

How could you not be happy with that?
No Mendy or Bernardo yet either....
Need a comeback of the year with Vinny and we are on our way
You forgot Gundogan, think he will also be immense this year. Remember how he played against Barca?
Wonder what the odds are for 7-0 away at Brighton !

The early signs are really encouraging. We've played some great stuff in the last two games, and the new signings look like they've gelled much quicker than expected. Our football has been breathtaking at times.

All of which points to a 1-0 defeat at Brighton in the opening game (last minute winner, after we hit the woodwork five times).
I was watching the game thinking at least we're getting the misses out of the way. Some insane cock-ups in front of goal. Ball didn't run for us in front of goal but we still battered them. Spurs were woeful

Spurs where out worked, out classed and dismantled.

Watched 3/4 of the match was really impressed ( was pissed and passed out). But how did it end up 3nil, we was spanking them all over the pitch. Can't wait for next season.

We can make room for Nasri as this tour has proved we're better with him. There I've said it!

I've always been flummoxed at the stick Nasri has got and most of it stemmed from him 'ducking' out of the way of RVP's winner in the derby. In terms of central mid we've got Yaya, Fern, Silva, Silva, KDB & Gundogan & I think considering Gundogan's injury record that there is still room for Nasri.

Tonight Pep said the following:

Nasri just needs a fuckin slap around his chops as Mancini promised him and someone to gaffer tape his mouth shut. It looks like Nasri's own actions last pre-season may have sealed his fate, he just has a horrible habit of shooting himself in the foot.

Probably to late for him now,he's pissed about like a spoilt twat for too long.

Unless he metamorphosis in to a proper, mature pro he's goina miss out on a wonderful period to be a City player and Foden or Diaz mustn't miss out on valuable game time.

Nasri didn't want to be part of a squad last year & went for the easy life in Sev. Says it all really,a proper waster.

Frustrating to watch the wastefulness before goal, but otherwise a pretty solid and fluent performance.
Not having to need to score your sitters and still getting a comfortable win bodes pretty well for the future.
Roll on next season.

The boys deserve a few days rest, well deserved. All except kun and gabi they need extra work hitting a barn door
