Spurs Post Match Thread | ICC match in Nashville

Beside the more glamorous bits, the pressing was really impressive. Everyone worked their socks off, and it looked really... Coordinated.
One moment stood out for me when KDB chased the ball all the way across the field. Hope it doesn't mean they are absolutely knackered by January, but it's pretty irresistible stuff
That''s how we started last season. We stopped doing it. Did Pep think it was impossible to keep it up last season, or did he think our full backs couldn't do it. Are we going to play like that in the Premier League all season?

I think somebody forgot to tell us it was only a friendly! We were sublime up until the 2nd goal then the changes came.
The passing the pace the movement the skill levels the energy the intensity the work rate with and without the ball and the desire to win the ball back was just top top class. The only worry was the chances we didn't put away! We made spurs look like a bunch of kids and u could sèe that they didn't enjoy being that dismantled even though it was a friendly by the way Ali and dier were acting and getting a bit shirty :-) brilliant.
I just hope we some how sort out our conversion rate for chances created and if that means signing another striker or two then go for it I say. Nothing against jesus or kun but we can't keep missing great chances like last night and last season for that matter.
But fuck me I have watched football these last 2 games that I didn't think I would ever see city play. Trying not too get too giddy but come on! We have been breathtaking for the most part and no way did Madrid and spurs let us play like that coz they were only friendlies.
You can tell they totally believe in Guardiola. Spurs were embarrassed

Absolutely awesome. We're playing the Pep way, finally.

Ederson, Stones, Kompany, Walker, Danilo, Silva, De Bruyne, Sterling, Diaz - Wow.

I'm slightly worried about Sane, he has no place in this system, so I'm hoping we switch to our normal 4-3-3 quite often to give him a game! But 5-3-2 is so solid and our movement is fantastic. Would like to see him given a chance up top, where Sterling did so well today.

Bring on Brighton.

I think Sterling and/or Sane could feasibly play in the wing back roles against sides that are likely to sit back. The past few games may have been more defensively minded XIs given the standard of the opposition.

Outstanding performance again.
It's looking good - well done all.

How many assists do we recon Ederson will have this season haha. His goal kicks are insane.
