He's overachieved a bit at Spurs, a typical kick and rush type manager but Spurs have/had the players to do it with great effect, much like Liverpool are starting to do now. Even now if they had a good striker (not sure if Adebayor is the answer) and kept Modric, they still could push for top four but Redknapp will never get Spurs any further.

When we sacked Sven I wanted Redknapp. I'm bloody glad we didn't get him!

i was chocked when i read, he never talk tactics NEVER, he use the same training standards on ALL players. wtf, is he stupid??

You only have to look at the damage he did at Portsmouth and then the derisery Transfer Fees he paid,to get them to sign for Spurs.
Agree that the then Portsmouth Chairman should have had more balls,but how many times have we seen `arry,get away with it.
Keep him at WHL for as long as he wants.

good read. I remember the VDV quote last year that Redknapp doesn't talk tactics, just basically tells players to go out and enjoy themselves, like it's a playground or something.

That website has to stop with the black background/white lettering though.

He has completely destroyed every club he ever managed in the end. Don't believe me ? West ham, Pompey and Southampton are all still completely fucked from his tenure as manager. Go and ask their fans what they think of him.

Some old ex player a few weeks ago on the radio said he was at spurs training ground with twitcher and this ex player said with a laugh the training is the same now from when I was managed by him 20 years ago that says everything about him really
