Of course I see where you are coming from.

But again, it's not that simple.

Lewis' wealth isn't in cash. The vast majority of it is tied up in the myriad companies that constitute his Tavistock Group. And most of those companies will also be haemorrhaging money right now. I don't know exactly, but would guess, that those companies employ a total in the hundreds of thousands of people.

Is Lewis to pay the wages for all whose jobs are currently at risk from his own pocket?

If he did, he would likely run out of money (say a generous £500m in liquid assets) within 18 weeks!

I defend my club when I believe posts about it to be unfair or inaccurate or at least deserving of the contribution of a different perspective. I'm never abusive. Other City fans on here seem to appreciate civilly and good-humouredly discussing Spurs, and a few other wider matters relating to football, with me so.....with my respect to you too.....I'll carry on posting in the manner that I always have until they tell me that I've outstayed my welcome.

You are quite correct, in my opinion, that you are entitled to defend your club and your posts are appreciated but I have no idea where you are coming from with regards this issue.

However please carry on as it would be boring if we all saw the world in the same way.
