Maybe, but to run away after 6 months is pathetic and weak.i think the PSG job was always short term for Poch with it being a piss poor league. maybe the money is too good to turn down and he will stay and just keep dreaming of the Manchester city job
The Owners would have backed him, he could rebuild that team and win trophies, he needs trophies on his CV.

Real Madrid got Bale and Modrić for very reasonable prices.
City got Kyle Walker and he's been worth every penny.
Levy paid Mourinho stupid money to do what Mourinho does and alienate everyone.
He sacked their best manager for 50 odd years. Now he's trying to bring him back.

If Poch goes back there is career as a manager is done.
Never go back and particularly, don't go back to a dressing room that you lost.
PSG will be glad to get rid, he has shown he is second rate and overrated.
Pochettino is a bang average manager and one of the most overrated people in the sport. A perennial nearlyman bottle job. Perfect for Spurs.
While I’m at it, Brendan Rodgers is the same. His own biggest fan and has actually done fuck all to warrant the hype he gets. And Scotland doesn’t count.

50m for Walker at the time was a great deal for spurs but pleased to say Walker has proved to be a bargain for us, superb signing.
80M for Bale was not bad either.
It was £90m. It was also world record transfer at the time, which makes the point that Levy sold him for less than he was worth ridiculous.

I don't know too much about Pochettino but I believe his obsession with Kane(pen) cost them the C.L. Much the same way as Hodgson's infatuation with Shrek became his downfall.
But all this about Levy welcoming back the prodigal son is a load of tosh as far as I'm concerned. A less than acrimonious parting of the ways a few months ago but now it's the 'dear old pals, jolly old pals' act from the two of them?

Would suit them both. Pochettino has seen his arse at a "big" club and Spurs are finally coming to the realisation that they're a top 4 side in a good season with no genuine hopes of challenging for a title.
Settling into an easy marriage of mediocrity would suit both parties.
