Spurs thread 2020/21

These sad bastards should be banned from social media for life.

What the fuck is wrong with these wankers?
These sort of people have always existed it's just that social media has given them a public platform. Previously they have been isolated and avoided by any sensible people. But no one forces anyone to use Twitter.

Similar to what City did to the Etihad, not sure what the total fee was for TH stadium but what you have quoted would probably have cost a lot less than the loans. Then you add on the loan of a 175m plus lack of fans this season & no one is 100% sure will be back next season it will be a major factor in Thfc finances. If a serious offer comes in for either Kane or Son, would Enic/Levy be able to turn it down.

The cup final isnt a forlorn conclusion, Son nearly always scores against us, you score 1st and we will struggle to break you down & then you throw var into the mix, who nobody nowadays knows whats gonna happen.
No, it was nothing like what City did to the Etihad. Your stadium was designed to be converted into a football stadium. The London Olympic stadium wasn't. If Spurs had won the bid for the Olympic stadium, they would have bulldozed the whole thing and started from scratch. It was the site that Levy was after, not the stadium. Thank fuck he didn't get his way. We aren't Stratford Hotspur!

Even though you obviously meant to write foregone, the idea that the EFL Cup final could be a forlorn conclusion is genius! Assuming the most likely outcome, I could hardly think of a more fitting description for the likely last meaningful action of Mourinho's sorry tenure at Spurs. Even if we do score first, we are now utterly incapable of holding onto a lead as we sit ever deeper and defend ever more desperately.

I think you meant forgone? Cup finals are never forgone conclusions. It so happens I was present at Wembley when second division Sunderland beat the mighty Leeds.
Also, Wigan Athletic says hello.

Cup finals are never forgone conclusions.
History shows no Cup game is. Hereford/Newcastle,etc, and if Maureen is still in charge when we lock horns he will want to go out with at least something for his time there. It might also be the only chance Kane(pen) has of actually winning a trophy with Spurs. So no, definitely not a forgone conclusion (wasn’t Foregone Conclusion the name of David Brent’s band in that film he did recently?).
Also, another thing is that under Maureen they have definitely added some of the dark arts to their game, and we all know how much the officials absolutely love us and our ‘oil money’.
