Levy's hired his twin with a transfer budget of.....

I think he is very similar to Swales actually. He talks about grandiose plans but his team fails to deliver on the field. He pleads poverty (even taking Furlough cash for staff) but the club has huge revenues (still in the top ten in the world). He is one of the highest paid football directors in the world. He reminds me of Swales. He's obviously a smarter business man than Swales was but there are a lot of similarities.

Levy protects his boss, majority owner Joe Lewis, who puts very little of his own money into the club. Spurs could easily have funded the stadium with an interest free loan from Lewis or even a cash investment but they loaded the club up with debt. That was a high risk strategy which has backfired, but not just because of Covid.
He has a sycophantic following in the press who promote him as some sort of financial guru but I think most sensible Spurs fans are starting to see Levy for what he is...a chancer.
Couple of seasons ago Spurs were in a great position, CL final players like Loris,Dyer,Vertonghan,Ali,Son,Kane plus others (I can’t remember after a bottle red) at this time of night, very sought after and valuable assets.A great summary. They are in trouble as they only have two sellable assets, Kane and Son and it's debatable who will pay the sort of money he'll demand for them. If they do go what then?

With Pochettino as manager. Now many of that squad have lost form and value, without a manager it looks a real mess in short space of time.
Good point. This thread is missing a dose of JimB
I don’t know. It’s all about business for him so the later he leaves it for a manager, the more he saves. He then doesn’t have to go deep into the transfer market early, thus saving even more money. This is an absolute car crash. Levy’s become a bit of a laughing stock.

Like, a lot.I see hard times ahead for Spurs.
Martinez the Belgium manager where did this suddenly come from, might be a short term fix he could maybe finally get them a trophy ( fa cup or league cup)but get relegated the same season..I don’t think the Spurs fans will be particularly happy if Martinez is indeed to become the new man. I get the impression they are looking for a sort of ‘glamour’ name, a headline filler, someone who thrives on being in the limelight, like Klipperty or Maureen, and Martinez isn’t like that - or at least he doesn’t come across as a celebrity-type man, anyway.
But the issue here is that the club is so starved of success they are thinking short term: it’s like they are saying ‘any manager will do as long as we get a trophy,‘ because they believe after the first one lots of others (trophies) will come along, but of course it isn’t like that.
Their squad is simply not good enough, and whoever comes in will have to use the current crop because there’s no way Levy will want to spend.
I see hard times ahead for Spurs.
But it was dry.I blame Don McLean, if he hadn't driven his Chevy to the...

really thought you were going to end with:Spurs fans, This Sunday from 10am - 6pm there's a Covid vaccination event taking place at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for people aged 18 and over.
So get yourselves down there, and you'll finally see some shots going in..
