Spurs Thread - 2021/22

Sounds to me that you've got a bad dose of the cheese sweats..

I'd suggest you stay out of the cheese room next time you go on your shiny new stadium tour, spend a bit more time in the club's trophy room looking at the stuff your team has won instead..

Oh, er, hang on, maybe not..

I know, why don't you chat to all the stadium workers Levy furloughed instead and reminisce about the good old days in '61..!

Got a 1 at the end of the year too, fkin spooky eh..!
I don’t think you understand

The number of trophies you win is not the only measure of success. It invalidates 95% of all English professional clubs

To take your argument to its logical extreme the only real measure of success is how many champions league finals you have won. that would put you on the same level as Spurs. Buf I agree it is not a good measure

a better measure is how much happiness does supporting your club bring you.

I am happy. Very happy. Despite what you lot keep telling Spurs fans what they should feel. I supported Spurs through the Sugar years. I was unhappy then. As he destroyed the club. Today I feel the club is improving

I hope you are happy with your club. It doesn’t seem so. But your measure of happiness is entirely your own. (Which is of course the point I am making).

These Spurs fans are the same ones that were slating Kane from the stands for wanting a transfer, and then last night singing his name like a messiah.
I’m sure the big fish in a small pond will be just happy scoring goals instead of winning silverware.

I cannot work out if you are a comedian or an insufferable idiot.

Funny how as a Spurs fan you say it's not about the trophies when you lot used to regularly sing to us "You'll never win fuck all" (cringe) and "If you know your history". It also doesn't explain how excitable Spurs fans were to reach the Carabao Cup Final last year. I live among Spurs fans. Actual match goers. Not winning trophies hurts them.

It’s always about the winning of trophies and medals. Ask any PROFESSIONAL Sportsperson.
That’s what they crave the most. It PROVES that they achieved something, not just winning a couple of games and being an ‘also ran’.
