Spurs Thread - 2021/22

Sad, really. You'd think they'd be more concerned about the mess at their own club at the moment.

Especially as they have one of the richest owners in the world. Perhaps not Saudi level but just as wealthy as Roman Abramovich who has invested wisely at Chelsea and made a lot of money. Spurs really have become a football laughing stock.

Had to smile at this quote from Nuno the Spurs manager "The Europa Conference League is like this; there are always tough moments.”

Err, actually this is the first season the tournament has ever been played, and the fact that you keep having tough moments is because you’re shit, not because it’s a competition renowned for its toughness.

Mackay was the man that Brian Clough and Peter Taylor built their Derby County side around.

They employed him as a sweeper, and, ironically, he was the one that the Rams' board appointed as Cloughie's successor, when the great man resigned.
Signed Franny and won the old 1st division.
Replaced Clough with ease.

must be Tories. Spending real money to buy fake money and then throwing it at northeners.

If they'd just thrown the real money at least it would have been some form of levelling up.
This lot were among the architects of the premier league and also the ESL. But yeah, Newcastle are the greedy ones.
Spurs really don’t let a bit of self awareness get in the way of their hypocrisy, do they?

Any excuse......

Bremner shitting it.
The story I heard was that Mackay had just returned from a serious leg injury, maybe a broken one, and the dirty Leeds players had been targeting him all match.

That photo shows what a snivelling little coward Bremner was. I still fucking detest that man!

Yep, you're bang on. Bremner had kicked the leg that Mackay had broken (twice). If it had been the other leg, he wouldn't have minded!

He be sacked because there fans are pointing at levy as one of the culprit in situation and how he handled Kane.

Think Potter turned them down bet they’ll go for Parker.
