but the point I am making is that you need someone to score two goals against a low block. And Kane is your man. But you can’t afford him. So you go for a second hand united legend.

A you’ve already been told, it’s not a case of City not being able to afford an ageing, injury-prone, big fish in a little pond.

It's rather that we weren’t prepared to match Spurs' ridiculously unrealistic valuation.
