Spurs Thread - 2023/24

How good are they? Are they positioned to do a Leverkusen next year?

They have some very young and talented players...

Udogie (21)
Sarr (21)
van der Ven (22)
Dragusin (22)
Johnson (22)
Kulusevski (23)

Then they have absolute quality in Maddison (27) , Romero (25), Porro (24), Son (31), goal keeper looks really good Vicario (27). Serviceable striker in Richarlison (26) and Bissouma is solid (27).

I really don't think they are that far behind Arsenal already in terms of squad talent and youth profile. They could challenge for the league next year.

I think they bottle it and let United back in.

One of them or Villa will bottle it I reckon.

5th will get CL I think this season.
Every season this happens. It’s why I can’t take any title charge nonsense regarding spurs. They also will happily take 5/6 and do the rags/dips bidding behind the scenes. A few backhanded compliments will finds its way courtesy of the red media and all will be well in levy world.

For a club that makes so much money, they seem happy just to be around the big teams.

They all have to play Liverpool and arsenal.
The rags seem to have the easier run in but villa should have enough points already in the bag to get 4th place.
United at home though and Spurs have to play Liverpool away.

It doesn't look good for Villa having to go away to City and Arsenal.

Villa playing mid-week in conference league not ideal though for them as well.

Played Ajax away the other week and then got beat 4-0 against Spurs at home.

If Villa drop points away to West Ham tomorrow I think they collapse.
