Spurs Thread | 2025/26

All them folk thinking they will stay up honestly where do you think there getting these points from ???

As one of the 'big six', the financial impact of relegation could be very serious:
  • Around £125m of PL prize money lost
  • Probably many fans won't renew at their ridiculous prices, or they'll have to lower them. Potentially another £25m lost.
  • Sponsorship agreements lost or dramatically reduced, so possibly £30m or more in Commercial revenue lost.
Their revenue could be cut in half. It's not like Burnley, or someone like that, where a season in the PL is a bonus and they can survive back in the Championship because their expenses are manageable. They may need to go through a complete retrenchment, and if they don't get back at the first attempt they could be in serious trouble.

Don't get my hopes up, for goodness sake! :)

The missus has been invited to renew her SC. Prices are frozen for 2026-27 but they will host more games in the Championship. Currently, the missus pays around £1,100 (no cup games) - one of the cheapest. That works out at around £60 per game in the PL and nearly £50 for each Championship game. Good luck to them selling that to a disillusioned fanbase.

They are going to have trouble selling players. Whilst many of them are not paid at the top end of PL wages, almost every player has been poor this season.

It could be glorious.

That'd be a shame.

Sunderland away for them and Wolves at home for West Ham as their next fixtures

As good as Wolves have been lately, it's a game West Ham can't afford to lose and Sunderland aren't exactly a pushover at home, or at all.

With six games to go they could legitimately be in the bottom three and I think they'd completely crumble if that happened to be honest

Sadly I’ve a feeling they will get an unexpected result somewhere and the upshot will be they get out of it -but should it come to pass I definitely wouldn’t bet on them coming straight back up

Sunderland away, loss.
Brighton at home, loss.
Wolves away, draw.
Villa away, loss.
Leeds at home, draw.
Everton at home, win.

35 points. Not sure it's gonna be enough.

Listen if they are getting stuffed at home by relegation rivals then they are in big danger.
Honestly i will be amazed if they pick up more than six points.................

That's OK up to that last game against Everton - if Spurs are on 32 points, they'll definitely need a win, so the pressure on them will be enormous and they're terrible presently.

Everton may well be fighting for a European place, but in any event, I think their professional pride - and Moyes - will have them gunning for a win, even if it is the final match of the season.

Hopefully - see the cunts find their true level - despite having the best cheese lounge in football !

I actually think they'll already be gone and will win because the pressure will be off.

It's going to be funny watching them play in a half-empty stadium next season after years of them chanting "Where were you when you were shit?"

How the tables turn.
