Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Wasn't following last night and just seen the highlights now.

Spursy.

Pitch looked rough. Not an easy place to go. Especially if you're low on confidence.

They're hitting a divot at exactly the wrong time, or right time depending on how you feel about them.

It's a shame that either Wolves or Burnley hadn't got more points on the board by now, Forest and Spurs probably only facing up against West Ham for that final spot, unless Leeds decide to join the party.

Just wish Levy was still there to go down with the ship.

But I suppose we could see 3 of the 9 who signed that letter asking for us to be punished before a trial, go down. Not all bad.

In fact, spurs are one of the 4 who have pre-registered to apply for legal compensation from the 115 case, so crash and burn you muppets. Try 'acting in the best interests of the league' (yeah, right!) when you're not even part of the league. Well deserved.

Maybe if they go down be interesting how that works out who goes who stays!

Already Rumours about Romario and “a lot of clubs are after him” agent doing there work and letting everyone know this even if not true! Who would want that liability
I mean, if he was back in his prime, he'd no doubt keep them up but he's a bit too old now. Still could possibly be a better option than his compatriot Richarlison.

New managers just completely lost the squad and probably most of the fanbase with that decision to bring the keeper off

Completely cowardice to do that to the lad, and not one that the squad will have been pleased with

I hope the fuckers go down now and I honestly think that decision last night could be the final nail for them

Seriously, had he been kept on and the result was 6 plus and full of more errors there would be the swords of a 1000 men screaming at Ten Pole for not bringing him off.

Looking at their remaining fixtures... it could happen

I didn't really believe it till I took a good look at their run-in. In some respects they are not natural top six (although they think they are) but in others they are. I just thought that they were in any case too big.
But then, I thought City were too big to go down, in the eighties. Convinced of it. Well, even the Titanic can go down, if the iceberg is called Swales…
Assessed calmly, what I realised is that there are virtually no gimmes in that run-in, and there are some bloody hard matches. I said this at work to a life-long Spurs fan (she's my boss, actually, and for once I have met a decent level-headed spuds fan) and she agreed.
The run-in starts with the little matter of Anfield, and then they have the visit of Forest. I can see them losing both right there.
