Spurs Thread | 2025/26

Was a bizarre appointment in the first place and one that deserves to see them relegated. Who brings in a manager with zero league experience to get them up for a fight and playing for the club? Its the equivalent to a team like Valencia bringing in Gary Neville...

Still think they stay up and they'll do so by fewer than the 4 points we gifted them.
Sends a shudder down my spine to think we gifted those shit stains 4 points this season when they’ve been beyond wank!

Lasted longer than Coppell but just less than Truss. Hopefully he fucked their finances more than she did to ours.
44 days according to what I have read.
They could make it a film about these events in about 50 years time and call it -" The Damned Hotspurs "

Our record against them over the last few seasons is nothing short of a disgrace, I haven’t checked but I’d be amazed if any other side had only got one point out of six against a team as shit as them, fuckin embarrassing

I have family in N London, many of whom are Spurs fans but still decent people despite that.
I feel we should have more in common with them as two big clubs with large fan bases and records of under achievement (not now obviously)
But …….they tried to do us over so……FUCK OFF SPURS!!!

They must have someone lined up. There's no way they've let this fella go without someone being briefed beforehand.

So-called big clubs used to get relegated. United City Leeds Villa Forset Chelsea and others, but now the Premier League is such a closed shop that a so-called big clubs getting relegated will be a disaster in terms of what's next

Spurs, not so long ago, were a top 4 or 5 club and Champions League finalist and they built a new stadium.
Going down could set them back 10 years ? players, managers, coaching staff, backroom staff, will be the first to get the boot. The owners will be in panic mode and under pressure to repay the loans taken out and debt will be called in

Just think how bad it could be and then double it. Overnight, you are a championship-level club that every club in that league will see you as a cup final and will want a piece of you, Spurs don't have the fight in them to stay up, so how are you going to cope when teams like Stoke PNE are full of fight

Of course all this nasty unpleasantness could be avoided with some …..ahem……charitable decisions from our old buddies at VAR and Pigmol!

The problem is, as we found to our cost, once the rot sets in, it’s very hard to rid yourselves of it.

This isn’t a one-off for Spurs by any means; they finished just above the relegation places last season for a reason. This term is a continuation of the gradual decline ever since the Champions League final.

If they do avoid relegation this season, nothing suggests they won’t find themselves in the same situation next year.

Just like with the rags, it could be problems further up the chain of command inside the club than the footballing activities.

Always looked a bad appointment.

Assume they'll have to offer a firefighter manager millions to keep them up, as I can't see it being a long term appointment.

I think they'll go Dyche.
