According to Pep, Walker has a hamstring issue, so would be surprising to see him start this one, even if it’s a minor issue.
Doesn’t leave us with many options so Danilo and Mendy at FB and I guess Fernandinho and Laporte would cover if either got injured?
Oh, where is milner when you need him the most?!!!

We need to be solid for this leg, grab a goal and go back to the etihad in the second leg and smash them. I’d take a one goal defeat, as long as we score. Can’t see them coping with us in the second leg.
0-0 is a better result than any defeat, including one where we score. People get so hung up on the away goals rule that they seem to forget (or not realise) this.

If there's an alternative,id have Mendy nowhere near this game.

Bring in Dinho,Aguero and Stones and drop Otamendi,Gundogan and Dave.

Absolutely agree.

I thought he was poor yesterday and its not just because he is coming back from injury. He gave the ball away in dangerous areas a number of times (including trying to nutmeg the attacker near the edge of his own area). He is so one footed that teams/individuals know how to close him down. He is a useful player going forward (though someone needs to tell him he doesnt have to hit every cross as hard as he can!) but he is a defensive liability

Maybe Walker will be ok and then Id play Danillo at left back...Walker just needs to calm down a bit at times. He almost tries too hard on occasions and his play suffers for it...not just with the idiotic reaction yesterday (though the guy definitely stamped on his hamstring) but in general play as well...bit more composure needed from Kyle

This game will be very difficult, they’ve been resting and preparing since their last game on Wednesday.

Hope Kun is ready and Kompany as well. Laporte at LB for me.

My team would be:
———————-Ederson———————-
Walker—Stones—Laporte—Danilo
——————-Fernandinho——————
————de Bruyne—Bernardo———-
——-Sterling——-Kun——-Sané———

Mendy is not ready for this one
David Silva needs a rest IMO
Bernardo is wasted out wide
Sané will be hungry after a cracking performance last week and not featuring yesterday.
