I think we could get away with a 2:1 loss in the first leg. Getting the away goal is integral.Oh please don’t start.

Just hope we aren't as complacent as we were on Saturday, as we looked like we were playing a pre-season friendly, really hope Sane starts on the left as he naturally pushes back the RB and Kieran Trippier is a big threat with his delivery. Sane's been out match winner on so many occasions, not really sure what else the lad has to do to start, sadly I think we need to drop David S for this one. Btw there isn't much home advantage as they've only played one game in the stadium.
That would not be a bad result though I would suggest 2-2 would represent a good nights work.I think we could get away with a 2:1 loss in the first leg. Getting the away goal is integral.
The reality for Spurs fans is that we expect to lose. City are a better side. Simple as that.
We hope to stay in the tie tomorrow. Then maybe. Just maybe. We can do something at Maine Road.
On personal level I am happy to lose in the league. Anyone but Liverpool... (and Arsenal, Chelsea. )
If we draw 0-0, we have to score one more than them in the return leg to go through
If we lose 3-2, we still have to score to go through, but spuds have to score one more than us
I think that is correct and based on that I would take a 3-2 loss anytime over a 0-0
I'd take a 6-3 loss over a 1-0 win as it means more away goals.
Am I doing this right?
I’m not biting any more. I’m leaving remedial maths for the clinically insane alone for a while.I think we could get away with a 2:1 loss in the first leg. Getting the away goal is integral.
