Think our home atmosphere is very much underrated. The dippers were under the cosh despite a 3-0 lead last season and suffered at ours in the league too. Go and score goals. With the away goal rule if we win 4-3 it is a lot better than a 1-0 as Spurs know they need to win by two clear goals to stand any chance.

They will come at us hard to try and take advantage of their extra rest so we just have to suck it up amd exert our dominance. Ideally a big win so we can make some changes early in this game and the home leg ready for league games!

wtf is wrong with people here speaking about taking 2-1 losses. we are the best team in the world. we should smash them 5-0 and turn the second leg into a training exercise and get some much needed rest.

Eh? What's this 5-0 shit about? 5-1 is the traditional score at WHL, not 5-0.

This reminds me of the Arse double header last year. There is no doubt that spuds will be dreading 3 games against us, new stadium or not. I can see nothing other than 3 positive results. We are so much better than them and should have to much for them unless for some reason they actually play like the team the media think they are. Their recent record is poor and our form is beyond superb.

Don't worry fellow blues, our Kev summed it up. We will be fine.

City City City.

I would take not being on the wrong end of six game changing decisions over the two legs , (and a rabid pre match coach attack)like last years quarter final ,if we get our fair share of decisions from the officials , then we win.

VAR is in use. It makes it much harder and more obvious to all should we get cheated again. I know the system isn't perfect but is a lot better than leaving it totally to bent officials. Last year's first offside goal and the disallowed goal at our's would definitely get reversed. Here's hoping for a fair result - whatever that may be.

I don't think we can be arrogant with our CL record to be fair... Its hardly news that we tend to play worse in CL than in the league. For example we failed to beat Lyon in two matches.

Not that our CL record is terrible but its not great either.

This is true. We need to mature in this competition. Time to shine.
