According to Pep, Walker has a hamstring issue, so would be surprising to see him start this one, even if it’s a minor issue.
Doesn’t leave us with many options so Danilo and Mendy at FB and I guess Fernandinho and Laporte would cover if either got injured?
I also think Walker would not be at his best at their new ground as he'd probably try too hard and get sent off. No problem with Mendy as I always think he gives us more going forward than not. Wouldn't surprise me if Pep is a little cautious and plays three centre backs. Will be interesting, the good thing is Pep rarely if ever gets selection wrong. Just hope he doesn't pick Marhez based on work rate alone. We need a Bernardo type perpetual motion performance.

This will be a very tough game. Injuries at full back mounting up. Walker and Zinchenko hamstrings and unlikely to risk Mendy so quickly. Aguero an increasing worry-the longer he's out, the longer he takes to get sharp.

Ed
Danilo Stones Otamendi La Porte
Fernandinho
KDB Gundogan
B Silva Jesus Sterling

You didn't see Pep's post match comments then?

A score draw wouldn't be the worst result.

We always try to score anyway don’t we, but agree 100%, that this away leg is deffo a situation to be on the front foot and try and score as many as possible, even if it means we risk conceding

Have to disagree re Mendy. Spuds have to attack and try and get a decent result prior to the return leg. They are more than capable of giving our defenders a difficult game. IMO we need to forget (for this leg) our defenders ability to attack and simply ensure they put up a solid defensive performance - Mendy is a) too rusty and b) not great at defending.

I would be surprised if he is picked
