What result do you want?

A draw I think. Liverpool are on a run, and Torres looks much improved.

City are steadily improving as the season progresses, but so are Liverpool. Long term I think they will be a bigger threat than Spurs

Liverpool win, no question. Spurs are a genuine threat to us getting in the top four.

Hopeful for a draw but the spuds are on fire atm.
I'm not particularly worried about Pool, they're not in the same class anymore. Spuds, on the other hand are playing some fantastic football and look like they could beat anybody on their day.
A spurs win and they are a point behind us.

Cant go wrong with a draw. If thats the case the 2 teams most likely to threaten us for top 4 wont make any headway. I still worry about Liverpool, they always seem to have that stroke of luck which is one thing we cant buy. Hopefully by the turn of year we can forge a big enough gap away from these 2 teams and i am sure our squad can see the season out with the best to come in the 2nd half of the season

Morning all..... looking forward to turning the bin dippers over later today.....

Here are some stats about Spurs at home in the PL since HR arrived at WHL a little over 2 years ago.....

We have the best home defensive record in the PL for 2 consecutive seasons, no team has conceded less goals at home in the last 41 PL games (Chelsea 28 goals / Manure 30)

2008/09: 5 goals conceded at home / 15 games (Redknapp arrived after 4 home games)
2009/10: 12 goals conceded at home / 19 games
2010/11: 7 goals conceded at home / 7 games

To win a game at WHL, a visiting side will (more often than not, Everton, Stoke, Wolves, Wigan, aside) have to score 2 goals….. only Man Utd and Blackburn (they lost) a couple of weeks ago have managed it in the past 41 PL games, prior to that Liverpool in May 2008 (over 2 years ago)

* Home PL Record:

P41 W29 D7 L5 GF:82 GA:24 94 / 123pts

Only Manure and Chelsea have earned more home points over the last 41 PL games..... both have over 103 pts / 123, then us with 94 and Arsenal with 89......

For those looking for a chink in our armour after a CL group game..... well the only defeat was when we had an away game at Bolton..... all our other group games have been followed by a home PL game, 2 wins and a draw so far.....
