I'm a Mancini inner but he's had a horror show today. If he didn't want to risk Aguero, why put him on the bench? We've seen the desperation of Lescott up front again, seriously, where is the suggestion of this being a good idea come from? Milner got injured, fair enough, but apart from Barry who is too slow, that wiped out our graft in midfield. AVB saw this and added Holtby while Mancini sat on his hands and did fuck all.

Aguero was on the bench because we had no players in the squad to go on the bench - attacking options that it.

For me he was jsust making up numbers, and another reason our squad depth is a myth.

If Mancini knew this game was going to change the title race he would of risked him, but he knows and we should know by now it's over.

So he'd have risked him if today would have changed the title race? Well it did, it confirmed it to be finished. If he's not going to play, why put him on the bench? Don't tell me we had nobody else. What's up with Lopez or Suarez? I'd rather have one of them on the bench than a player who isn't going to play.

Credit to Spuds, wanted it more than we did. We settled for a 1-0 win after an hour and paid the price. Tough away day, not overly upset. Would like a top four of rags, us, spuds and cheslea just to piss off gooners really.

I'm not overly upset either , we are still in a great position for 2nd place ..... but the way we collapsed , in the final 20 minutes , was alarming ..... our slipshod late defending just gave Spurs all the impetus that they needed.

I know many of us are bemoaning the decision to stick Lescott up front towards the end of the game, but on a really serious note, can someone please explain any logical reason for why Mancini may have done this?

Surely any footballing decision made by a manager or his assistant must be made tactically, for the benefit of the team and the outcome of the game, but no matter how I try I really can't get my head around this one.

5 minutes to go, might aswell lump a big guy who wins headers and go for broke, high long balls for Lescott to flick on for Tevez and Nasri.

Dzeko, totally ineffective, not once did he manage to control the ball with his first touch, nor inded his second or third, then when he finally got hold of the hot potatoes he gave it away, complete load of crap today, that's him gone without a doubt. I think he kept him on to show the owners how shite he really is...
