Spurs vs City post match

Thought we passed the ball well in the second half, but it was too late by then. He got it wrong today with the fullbacks, both should never play against pressing teams.

Also I'd like to add how much of a **** Danny Rose is.

Agree.
But why we was so easily bullied in the middle even with heavies like Fernando?

Not sure I have the answer either!
My guess would be that too many of our current players dont have the ability to control the ball instantly and lay it off quickly, then move into a space to receive the ball;
Zabba, Otto, Fernando, Navas for example - I dont think their first touch under pressure or passing accuracy is good enough at the very highest levels - which today it was.
If we had a better touch - and found space - we could keep the ball moving quicker, so that even if they could out-muscle us, they could only do it if they could get to the ball!

Having said all of that, I thought their fitness levels were 'unbelievable' in the way Leicester's seems to be last year. Don't want to start casting any doubts, but that's how it looked.

Too much fucking flapping on here. We are fucking top of the league with just 1 loss out of 7. We had a shit day but its not doomsday. Its like we were expected a 38 game unbeaten season. Also bravo to some on here on judging Pep today, he hasn't even got to know the players well.But hey we would be lucky to be top 4 this season according to some. Give it some fucking time and give you heads a wobble, its one game if it would have been 3 in a row in the league its different.

Last years top4 - Today - Leic. drew, Arse are drawing with Burnley , atm , Spurs won , City lost.............Plenty of time left in the season yet.

Sterling is no good on left flank. Absence of Nolito was apparent, you move Sterling to left and destroy balance and threat from both flanks.i do not understand folks getting on Aguero when he had to be back defending. Game was lost in midfield where we could not control the ball to feed Aguero. Coming off the kind of game with Celtic midweek did not help.

No. By that time, Spurs had decided to defend and counter-attack. We never really threatened.
We looked far more comfortable on the ball when he came on and offered far more than Fernando, you are right Spurs sat back a bit more but gundogan was far more dominant then Fernando was

Spurs look very good, they don't make a fuss, just go about winning games picking up points. No drama.

They're your title challengers. Not us. Too much drama about us.
Credit to Potchettino has done a fantastic job

Not just saying this because i am disheartened in defeat but i think Arsenal Spuds and Liverpool are all more organized than we are and one year on Great first half by them and they deserved it Stones are one positive but with all said and done had we had been more clinical in front of goal we could have come with an undeserved point to many players playing as per last season
