Liverpool will push them close.
Think the dippers are a lot better than spurs
Liverpool will push them close.
Well, title race on :(
We'll have to find a way to play against this kind of pressing or we'll win fuck all. Both Celtic and Spurs proved that if you can keep pressing us long enough we'll have problems. Missing chances in games like this one where we are second best for most of the time is not helping our case too.
Another concern is that we're easily losing these 6-pointers again. Hope it won't get as bad as last season as you can't win Premier League title if you are not getting points against top 6 teams.
Spurs are great team btw, showed today why they conceded only 3 games so far this season. It's going to be fucking hard to qualify for CL, let alone to win titles in next few years, some very good teams in the league.
Iheanacho.. for all his amazing talent to come into good position is pretty shit with the ball. Bit like Dzeko, either he does something with it in first second or two, or it's lost.
It's not been a bad start has itHang on. Let's see how we perform against those teams at home first. This is Pep, not Pellegrini and there will be a response to this.
Obviously we are still a work in progress so all facets of Pellegrini haven't magically evaporated yetAny decent Premier League manager just copy and paste for the last 2-3 seasons, press our Midfield and Defence and they will oblige by presenting you with several easy chances.
I don't think Kompany will play more than half a dozen more games for this club.Serious question (not WUMming); can we rely on Vinnie's long term fitness any more?
Thats the same for 2 games in a row ....tell me when do you start to worry ???
Jesus has someone hacked your account mateAn own goal and some sloppy defending. Hardly the end of things.
3 clear ones for Aguero a 3 yard tap in for Silva at the start & a fairly easy one for Kelechi.
Agree.
But why we was so easily bullied in the middle even with heavies like Fernando?

Well, we scored at WHL last year...Ok. But, I couldn't see anything in our play today that was better than what Pellegrini did last year against Tottenham.
Not sure what game you were watching but nacho is superb playing on the shoulder of defenders and always making intelligent runs , Loris made a brilliant save to stop him scoring , and now you think it will be difficult for us to qualify for the champs league , name 4 teams who have impressed you so much this season that they will finish above us this season
Dier did make the bench, but Wanyama and Alli were mint and wouldn't even be sure who they would drop for both of them when Dembele comes back.Kane, Dembelle and Dier. All first team starters.
I thought Sagna and Clichy were nailed on to start today. We probably wont do it, but 3 at the back looks tempting because the full backs are weak.Disappointed but can't expect to win with that side although there should have at least been more fight. Really highlighted the neglect of the fullback positions.
