Im sorry but i didnt think Spurs were particularly good today.

Their work rate was immense, their physical approach was obvious and commitment undoubted but were they particularly good? i thought their errors in possession and in front of goal were as plentiful as city's. We were beaten by pure effort today.

I think we shouod try to get fullbacks who are physically upto it as well as football wise.

But we are not conceding many free headers at corners. Which is brilliant by Pep imo as it was 1,2,3 per game last season.

Spurs, Liverpool etc could beat us at any time. They are kind of antidote teams, to City's style. If we want to beat them, we can't afford many fuckups, end of.

If we fuckup simple defensive stuff like we did in both recent games, we will struggle to beat anyone in the Premier League, let alone those teams

Analysing the formation isn't really that relevant when individual players are so shit on the day.

Am surprised they stayed in the first place. If at the end of last season you'd have said to me City were going to sign just 2 players I'd have put money on them both being full backs.

Not a very relevant lesson I think. The more relevant lesson is that he gets flustered under high pressure, which we learnt against Celtic, if no sooner.

Poor team selection by pep today but credit spurs they were far better sharper first half we improved and were slightly the better team 2nd half didn't take the 4 or 5 chances we created! Pep will have learnt alot today sagna and Clichy are a must for the bigger games and we were too deep from the off big gaping holes between defence and midfield and midfield to forwards. No need to panick and a good run of winnable league games from now till mid December should see us open up more of gap at the top. Very early to predict but i think we are in a 3 way go for the title with spurs and the dippers
