Spurs vs City post match

Honestly thought we were much the better team in the 2nd half and with better finishing could of easily got at least a point from this match.

Also those complaining about passing it out from the back are in for a very long season, as Pep has clearly stated that is the way we will play and is the way his team's always play, something which is still very early stages for us, and something which will improve as the seasons progresses.

As for some of the absolute tits in the match day thread, FFS, same names appear in every match thread when we are losing and talk the same ridiculous nonsense as always, if they are City fans (some clearly are not), how the flying fuck you cope in general life is a mystery never mind watching the best City team many of us have seen is beyond me, some of our football this season has been sublime.

We are only going to get better and along the way we still lose, but it is only onwards and upwards for this City team.

Our investment and planning for every one of our teams is second to none and is going to produce some amazing players and teams in the next few years alongside a 1st team which has and will continue to receive large investment.

Game was lost in midfield where we could not control the ball to feed Aguero. Coming off the kind of game with Celtic midweek did not help.

People won't like this but our worst player was Sergio. Watch his movement and work throughout the match and you'll see he was selfish greedy and lazy today.

Saying that we were very poor all over the pitch until Pep brought on Gundogan in the second half.

Overall pep was tactically outmanoeuvred by Poch today.

Quite agree with the comment on aguero. He and Kolarov were very Poor Today.

Pep getting to know his players....we will improve although playing the ball out of defence looks suicidal with these players (apart from Stones).

Poor performance all round but not fatal this early in the season

So he didn't say we should have won 6-0, the ref missed 20 penalties and 10 red cards?

I think we will have these teething problems throughout the first half of the season. I think the hope is that by protecting sane and easing him in he will find his feet for the second half of the season and allow us to really fight for the title.
 
Everything Pep has said is blindingly obvious to anyone whose got a bit of rationality.
 
I think it is slowly getting about time for Sane to start giving some serious contribution. He can't forever be running after his lack of pre season.

The guy is absolute class , imagine baconface or Maureen making comments like that , or would they be blaming the referee , linesman or the club doctor , we got beat by the better team on the day , but lets see how Spurs cope with us at the Etihad.
 
We lost the game in midfield, it looked like we got bullied at times but seemed to have a better shape when Fernando went off and Dinho dropped back to link defence to attack.
I thought Stones was immense today and was easily our best player.
