Squad Numbers - 2012/13

Aye, this crossed my mind when I was in the City store when the away kit launched and they had loads of pre printed shirts with names and numbers.
 
Personally I think that if you ordered a Nasri 19 in good faith, with no notification of a change of number, despite the new shirt having come out, you should be able to change it. It's their fault for not updating their system prior to putting the shirt on sale.

It would be different if they'd sold the shirts in May or June like other clubs. But to bring them out so late when they're back in pre season and they must have known about the change in number for some time, they should be accountable for that.

Indeed, if you do have problems changing your shirt, I would ask to speak to the store manager and get his views on the matter as you could quite rightly claim you've been duped.
 
My mate spend £80 on goalkeeper kits for his sons birthday with Hart 25 from the shop in town the other week. Laughed at him and said Hart 25? he looked at me and said yeh he has been since he joined I said he's number 1 now mate. He's fuming the club put 25 on in the 1st place and because he's lost his receipt the club won't change it saying he must of bought it from somewhere else. Surely the club should be held responsible fro changing numbers after the Kit was released?

Son bought a Nasri 19 away shirt from JJB yesterday. Phoned this morning after City said they were aware of the change on Tuesday. Manager said he would change it. Fair play to em.

SWP left a day or two after Nasri arrived so was surprised when he would've inevitably asked for 8 and then told SWP was in process of leaving and just waited for the number 8.

I'm personally not sure about Aguero. Think if Edin left he may be tempted by number 10. Although he said on the official site that 16 holds some significance as it's his wife's birthday and he had that number for bejing Olympics.

I doubt Kun will change his number, as he wears 16 for Argentina.
 
Amazed that nobodies mentioned that in taking up #8 Nasri's now the holder of King Colin's shirt. To me, I'll always affiliate SWP with 29, not 8.
