Just went to get the new home shirt with printing and on the OS shop, Nasri has changed down to 8. No other changes I can see but just warning encase anybody else went to get Nasri with a 19 on it.

I've preordered a new home shirt with Nasri 19 on it and shorts. You reckon they'll change it for me?

Nope they wont change it.

From the OS:

Once a name or number has been printed on a shirt we will not offer a refund or exchange unless the shirt is faulty. The same applies if a player leaves the club or changes his squad number during his time at the club.

Sweep's shirt eh - when's Joe gonna be Number 1 ?
SWP left a day or two after Nasri arrived so was surprised when he would've inevitably asked for 8 and then told SWP was in process of leaving and just waited for the number 8.

I'm personally not sure about Aguero. Think if Edin left he may be tempted by number 10. Although he said on the official site that 16 holds some significance as it's his wife's birthday and he had that number for bejing Olympics.

"Holds some significance" - I would certainly agree with that - but not for the reasons quoted !!!

Forgot to mention scoring the winning goal in the most dramatic title decider in living memory whilst wearing the number 16 shirt....

I just don't know how legally binding this disclaimer is. If I bought a shirt with my name on and change my mind about size I can understand not having a chance in hell to swap it but If I bought a pre printed shirt from the City store with Kompany 4 on the back and I get home and it was too small I'm sure they would exchange for another size. Obviously the change in number complicates the issue, also I would have thought online distance selling laws would give you some sort of protection.

I think what I'm getting at is whether the store differentiates between personalised shirts and player printed shirts.

Already changed to 1 mate.
excellent, how did you find out and are there any other changes?

There was another thread mate, someone went in the shop and the pre-made stencil or whatever they use was being withdrawn. Someone then went on OS site shop and it's been changed to no.1 and I think the same has been done in the squad list.

That's curtains for Nasri then, a player's form normally drops when he's got the burden of the number 8 round his neck.

the number 8 shirt never did any harm to Gerry Creaney's form

I'm surprised that Joe has dropped down from 25 to 1.. He stated in an interview that he liked 25, had been his number his whole career bar the season at City when he had number 1, got replaced by Shay and subsequently moved to Brum on loan and had 25 shirt again

I think he club will change any squad numbers of the two players if you ring and speak to them, as its a bit off advertising squad numbers from last season if there is a very realistic chance of a player changing number

I'm pleased that Nasri is moved.. I would also like to see the number 9 shirt filled by a striker that will play regularly.. Bojinov and Adebayor have hardly done much in it.
