Squad Numbers - 2022/23

Dias always wanted number 3 didn’t he? No way he gives that up imo. Phillips may take 4?
 
Just guessing:

Ortega - 1
Haaland - 9
Cucurella - 13 or 15
Alvarez - 19
Phillips - 24

Would be interesting if Phil would want 7 if Raz goes. He presumably had a choice at 10 before we signed Jack and was okay with not taking it. Would love to see McAtee get 21. Palmer I've no clue.

Phil’s 47 is a tribute to his grandfather who died suddenly at that age.
I think he’s been offered lower numbers a couple of times but declined them. Never say never but I suspect that he won’t be changing it in the foreseeable future.

Me too! Jeez, I've missed David Silva nearly as much as I've missed Dave Ewing!
