Foden to take the number 7 shirt?
Not having a go Chris but how many time does this have to be stated.
Foden chose 47 after the age that his Grandad Ronnie passed away at that age.
Can’t really see him changing.

I’m pretty sure I remember Alan Harper wearing 10, and playing as a full-back under Peter Reid.Sometimes they did that, they changed it on regular basis, one week number 10 is a striker, next week an anchor man.
The last example of which was probably Summerbee, Young, Lee, Bell and Coleman. No 7 was outside right
No 8 was inside right
No 9 was Centre forward
No 10 was inside left
No 11 was outside left
These players were classed as ‘forwards’ (Attackers)

Unless you count Sterling, de Bruyne, Agüero, Silva and Sané.
Brain fart.Summerbee, Bell, Lee, Young & Coleman
Speaking of squads, Kev is now the last man standing from the Pellegrini era
Was really struggling to identify the guy between Delph and OtamendiWho would have guessed he would lasted longer that Wilfrid Bony.......................
Isn't that an Argentinian striker(not Sergio!)that played a few pre-season games and a charity shield? forget his name only stayed a couple of yearsWas really struggling to identify the guy between Delph and Otamendi

That's the one!!!Bruno Zuculini
Remember that when Coleman was in the team, Summerbee was generally number 9 and Lee number 7. It was all a cunning plan to confuse the opposition? The last example of which was probably Summerbee, Young, Lee, Bell and Coleman.
Midfielder, still playing for River Plate, was a teammate of Julian AlvarezThat's the one!!!
