Sri Lanka Easter Sunday Bomb Blasts

Hey there blues, I'm Samaru from Sri Lanka and I'm the Chairman of MCFC Supporters Club Sri Lanka. We have a huge fan base for City here and just wanted you all to know we all are safe. Unfortunately few of our friends have died in these blasts. It's a tragedy and 2 days later the country is still in shell shock. I just wanted to apologize and send my condolences as a Sri Lankan to all the foreigners who were killed specially Billy Harrop and his wife Sally from Manchester who passed away. We all are heart broken :(
You have nothing to apologise for, these cunts are subhuman, deepest sympathies to you and all your country men, I can’t imagine what you’re all going through.

Well said Samaru. I being Manchester born and bred and a Blue for over 60 years and now living and supporting City from Sri Lanka have been totally depressed for the last couple of days. It is going to take some getting over.

I just find that incredibly sad to watch. All those people in and around that church, there to simply worship their God (irrespective of your views on religion), and many of those on that video (the majority, possibly?) were slaughtered a few minutes later by that bomber, assuming the the bloke with the rucksack is the bomber. What the fuck is wrong with people, that they have such hatred towards others that they have no compunction about blowing those victims to pieces.

We have a gut in Sri Lanka that works for us. He would have ordinarily been in/at the St Anthony's Shrine at the time of the blast. As it turns out, he and his family had other commitments so went to the shrine several hours earlier - stories like that bring these things home even thought they are far away

May God bless your wonderful country and people, sorry for your loss and this horrendous tragedy.

Do not apologise for anything.

Very nice message though and I wish your country all the best, awful news about your friends, I hope you all recover and your great country and move forward

Is it wrong to expect notaries of this god worshiping religon to condemn these acts?
