I'm not a Milner fan but I actually think that if he is going to move clubs again there are 4 more attractive teams for him at the moment. Even though we can outbid 3 of them I dont think that the highest bid will necessarily win.
He will want to play at the highest profile and highest level he can and as an England international he can pick and choose. I think he will be a target for Chelsea, the team with an ageing midfield who are desperate to win the Champions League, and have the funds, but maybe not this year?

world class he isnt - 30million yeah its mad - do we need him? all i know is if we dont bring in players like that then we fall behind.
tottenham have been doing this for years now and eventually got there - bale, dawson, lennon, fat bloke in midfield, defoe etc etc and I know theres others gone by the wayside but if you dont buy a ticket then you dont stand any chance of winning the prize.
