St Anne's Lytham St Anne's

Lytham is the perceived 'posher' of the two. Lytham Hall and gardens is lovely, especially on a sunny day like today. Fairhaven Lake on the front is worth seeing along with the Windmill.
Pubs like The Queens, The Taps and The Station are top. Some good restaurants too, Zest being a favourite.

St Anne's has the pier to see and the sand dunes/beaches are lovely. Centre has lot of shops and restaurant/bars. No. 15 and The Hop Shoppe are good.

Are they worth visiting.
Bus from Blackpool what place is the first stop.
I stay in a guest house in St Annes rather than Blackpool. It's great for walks down the beach in either direction. Really good place called the Fairmile b+b run by a Leeds fan who is sound . He informs me Pete the badge is a regular visitor . Good chippy and real ale to be had in both places you have mentioned. It ain't the south of France but you won't get a pint of real ale for £4 in France.

Need to visit St Anne's Pier cafe.

They sell 2ft long chocolate eclairs!! Went last year and they were £8

WTF!!
