St Anne's Lytham St Anne's

Two famous golf courses. Royal Lytham has hosted the Open 12 times. The epitome of English links.
St, Anne’s Old Links a famous venue and traditional club, part of ‘The Golf Coast’.

Lytham is the perceived 'posher' of the two. Lytham Hall and gardens is lovely, especially on a sunny day like today. Fairhaven Lake on the front is worth seeing along with the Windmill.
Pubs like The Queens, The Taps and The Station are top. Some good restaurants too, Zest being a favourite.

St Anne's has the pier to see and the sand dunes/beaches are lovely. Centre has lot of shops and restaurant/bars. No. 15 and The Hop Shoppe are good.
The Taps is a great pub…

They seem to have a decent run of gigs on the front and ha be developed a reputation for getting some big names.
Saw Duran Duran & Goldfrapp there a couple of years back, which was good (if very wet).

Iirc even Le Bon made a quip on stage about Lytham/St Annes/Blackpool.

Where would you recommend to eat in Lytham ? Thanks
There's some decent restaurants but the only one I've been to is Ego, it's part of a chain, we went on a Monday night whilst on a golf trip and it was packed. Two courses for £18.95 and a tenner off a bottle of wine.

My blue mate's partner owns these apartments that are booked through Booking.com but can get a better rate if booked direct, anyone want a price availability I can pass direct to her.

Depends what you want.

F&C Seniors or Whelans.

Ego, Mediterranean.

Olive Tree Brasserie (as above.)

Elvins (Lebanese)

The Lytham Kitchen (British).

There are others. I tend to go in Whelans as sometimes they have Halibut, which is gorgeous.
