The word Sad was in no way deployed in that sense, as you seem so desperate to imply to try and score some kind of pedant points - anyone with a modicum of intelligence could tell the subject that it related to. But here we are. Jesus wept.

I don’t need to score any pedant points - you elected to post about a draw at Old Trafford as being ‘sad’ which is actually pretty irrelevant to this thread, which is about finishing above United.
