Stadium City Store being "relocated"

Once building work starts. Does the stadium extension need to be completed first or can the build the new shop and fan area at same time? Thus complete store sooner?

Just visited the new Etihad store to get a photo with the trophies. Disappointing that the store seems the same size as the old one. We need something larger for matchdays, hopefully that will be part of the new plans. I was also shocked how many people were there in Rags tops. Bloody tourists, wearing United home tops, with arms full of City gear, going to the tills!! Also spotted Wrexham, Cardiff, Bournemouth, Swansea and an Arsenal shirt. Very strange!

Don't they have a "waiting list" of about 650k for the swamp tour? Or maybe as tourists they just wanted to tour the stadium IN Manchester.

The only chance Rag fans will get to see any of these trophies for the foreseeable.

The store at the North Stand has to be demolished to make way for the expansion, the City @ Home building has been utilised as a temporary store until the new store is open in the second phase of the expansion The new store is in the west leg

Phase one will likely be the stand expansion with phase two being the legs that contain the hotel, store museum and commercial areas and square / town-hall

The part with the fanzone and store (+ hotel / offices etc) won’t be finished until the latter half of 2026. The terracing will be available from summer 2025 though.

Remember watching City v Liverpool in NY, the ridiculous amount of Rag tops on display was everything that is wrong with American sports fans and owners. One man’s sport is another’s tribal warfare
