Stadium Developments thread - San Siro to be demolished (p56)

Thanks.

Wonder if they keep the away fans in that stand or move them elsewhere.

Keeping them in there but spread less wide and more up ways like we did with the away fans in the south stand.

Anyone know what there capacity will be when its finished, I get a kick out of telling gobby dippers our average attendances have been higher than theres for the last 10 years, guess that wont apply after its finished?

Around 60k.

They’ll average more than us this season anyway due to the lost seats we have at the front to make way for bigger ad boards.

Fair enough, we will just have to extend the emptyhad again then & pay all those extra fans to attend ;-)

Had to laugh at Sky reporting the rags are following the lead of Barca & RM by building an independent stadium for their women’s team & U23’s…what about the giant campus built on the right side of the border? Good luck building Manyoonited World (as Gary Neville put it)

Why not let the ladies use to swamp that is falling down and build a new stadium for the men

In Cornwall or Essex or somewhere else where their fan base is ?

This was the planned Chelsea stadium design. Not sure if it’s going ahead anymore though. If things come back to the table then it’s possible there could be a more cost effective design instead.
