I think naming a stadium after a sponser makes it somewhat souless.

Like a previous poster has said, as it is not Maine Road I really couldn't care less, I don't refer to it as any of the names mentioned, I just say I'm going to "City" couldn't quite come to terms with any of the other names used!

They can call it the Bury Black Pudding Stadium for all I care as long as some mug gives us wads of cash for the honour.

It can't happen unless city buy the stadium. Sports England and mcc have made it clear they won't allow naming rights under current ownership structure.

This has all been covered before and is in the public domain.
