Question.

Slightly confused.

Does the campus incude the Super Casino site as well?

I only ask because Cook never metoined it in the 2nd video.

He mentioned the buildings already there and the car parks.

Did anyone else notice this?
He basically spoke about it covering what already exists and said the agreement could be extended to cover any new things that get built. Room to increase the numbers if needed I think.

Am down in Devon at the mo so have missed all the buzz. I understand that we have sold the rights for the area (Campus) and the ground. I looked on the MEN website and watched the video on the offical site.

So what does it all mean in terms of meeting the new rules laid out by Inspector Clouseau. (Can someone break this down in Idiot terms please) I take it this means we can splash the cash and continue to outbid our competitors?

There is talk of the rags getting a huge deal with Nike will that dwarf what's gone on with us? Everyone giddy as hell and I want to be, but would love to know what it actually means for the football club.

"But, but, but, but when dem dirty Arab playboys gets bored of having a football team, they're just gonna pull out and buy a Formula 1 team instead and then you bitters are gonna go bust and your council house will get knocked down."

I bet there are still deluded clowns over on Rag Soupkitchen who are sobbing themselves to sleep with the above consolation tale all over southern England and beyond.
Even the thickest new bitter must realise, deep down, that Sheikh Mansour and family are here to stay, for generations.
They have not only made a monumental long term investment in Manchester City, they have done so in the city of Manchester.
They are changing the physical, sporting, social, leisure, educational, medical, employment and most of all economic landscape of our city. They will be changing lives of thousands of Mancunians for the better.
And this is only the start. So much more to be announced. The figures mentioned already are probably only the tip of the iceberg.
What have the rags and their 'commercial partners' done? The Munich disaster anniversary sponsored by AON and Gary Munster fleecing the supporters with a new pub/chamber of horrors attraction and gargoyle shrine for gullible, bovine tourists.

I love the smell of Rag fear in the morning.
It smells...like victory...

What a wonderful post!

Sheikh family is very keen on real estate they not only develop land in the country there are several residential projects in Middle East and around the world, so I reckon there will be house, residential unit and 2 - 3 hotels, sport complex and probably a City theme park/ Residential units could have been in the blueprint already.

Impossible to say without knowing what the deal is worth.

All kinds of figures have been banded about. It went up very quickly from £100m to £150 and then to £400m as each publicist wanted to outdo their predecessor.

Our last accounts revealed a loss of £120m per year. Assuming £100m per 10 years means we've knocked off about 10% of the loss. All very rough, and probably totally inaccurate!

People are trying to tell me that Etihad in Arabic means united. Can we please put a STOP to this as it means "UNION" nothing to do with anything on the other side of M/c.

PS> just thinking of all those Indian, Chinese, USA etc: fans of OTMUFC might just have to travel on MCFC plane. (BLUE MOON RISING) just got to love it !

From another site..

"I am a Syrian Arab living in the UAE (non-ManCity nor ManUtd fan). Etihad translates to Unity OR Union but not United. Mutahed (Masculan) OR Mutaheda (Feminine) is the right translation to United.
The Etihad airlines was named in reference to the "Unity" of the 7 Arab Emirates namely: Abu Dhabi (c), Dubai, Sharja, Ras Al Khaima, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain & Fujaira which took place in the early 70's to form what is thereafter United Arab Emirates "Al Emarat Al Arabiya Al Mutaheda"

UEFA have promised "City's envious rivals" (the bitter ones no doubt - rags, Arsenal) that they will investigate whether City have breached FFP rules. (The Independent)
