Half the goals conceded have come as a result of not dealing with balls in the air .Why does everybody keep selecting teams with only 4 outfield players above 6 ft Company has to start in some role surely to boost defence in any set plays

I don;t think Vinny is up to speed yet , after his injury!!

Agree. Vince is a quality player but I wouldn't like to see him try and handle Gerrard unless he's 100% fit.

Played against Scunthorpe no mention of injury since but came to light about his grandmother at weekend when on duty for Belguim His head must be in bits or he is fit to play . If the latter must start

Can't believe some people are leaving De jong out for a game like this one.I'll bet anyone that if fit De jong will play at Anfield.I think it will come down to a straight choice between Dickov and Ireland,I just pray Hughes picks Ireland and goes back to the 433.If he plays 442 I really can't see us getting a result here.

Last year we dominated midfield and should have won with zab de jong and company as middle 3 all out and out tacklers would go similar style again Last year ireland was right box to box rob was left with bellars wondering around up front Close liverpool down central midfield makes playing through balls into the channels impossible for gerrard and with torres out what options does that leave them.Answer set plays why i think we need some height lescott to left full back would accomodate this

I agree apart from SWP on the right instead of Tevez,not that I'm a big fan of either but at least SWP has the pace to get up and down the right.

I can't see Dickov lasting 90 minutes.

Dickov lasted every minute of every game for us so far this season he will definetly last 90mins, Come on Dickov you legend :)
