Yay another one!

Hart.
Zabaleta - Kompany - Mangala - Kurzawa
Pogba - Fernandinho
Sterling - Silva - De Bruyne
Agüero.

Give Bruyne and Silva permission to roam around.

Can I just ask why you have picked Sterling? not trying to get at you just after your opinion coz I really don't see what people see in him I think he's massively over rated. but that's what's great about football and why we all have an opinion.

i chose him too down to his age and potential. i think he's over-rated at the moment, but playing with better players, in a better team and consistently developing, he is one to invest time and effort in for the next 5 years, I'd have Andros Townsend in as his back up too.

Depends entirely on who the manager is going to be. We need to address the balance in the squad though. Koke and Fernandinho in the centre would do just that. We need a right back, Zabaleta's been poor and I think even at his best he can be a liability against the top sides in Europe. I'd bring in competition for him. Same at left back, get rid of Kolarov. Look at Angelino replacing Clichy in a season or so.

Get young attacking players in. We need width, we need pace and we need creativity. Koke can pull the strings from deep and take set pieces. Silva can provide the guile further forward. Get movement in and around Kun through the likes of Sterling and De Bruyne who can run with the ball or offer a ball in behind. If Sterling improves his shooting he will be an incredible talent.

Any reason other than sentiment why Zabaleta is in everyone's side?

He has been absolute crap all season but hardly a mention...

The whole back 4 has been crap, and that's down to Pellegrini more than anything. Sometimes we need fullbacks and not 'doubled up' wingers,.Think Zabba gets in as he's a fan's favourite, does everything for the team and is arguably the best sigining (with Aguero) we've made in the 'new era'.

Manager: Carlo Ancelotti

4-4-3:

-------------------------Hart-----------------------
Zabaleta--Kompany--Mangala--Kurzawa
-------------------Fernandinho-----------------
------------------Silva------Pogba--------------
De Bruyne-------Aguero-----------Sterling

The worst thing about these threads is the lack of trust our fans seem to have for academy players. Sadly, that's been reflected in the management's team selection.

Are either Kurzawa or Gaya particularly much better than Angelino? In the long run, is it worth spunking 15/20m or whatever in this position when Angelino is sticking out like a sore thumb in what's a very good academy side?

Denayer is another one. Playing well on loan all be it in a far inferior league, on the fringes of the Belgium squad. Why we decided to spend 42m on Mangala completely baffles me.

Sterling much better than Lopez? Is Barkley much better than Evans?

We have to look at what we've already got first. They may not hit the ground running but that guarantee is not there for any potential new signings either.

I think Denayer and Lopes will both be apart of the squad next season.

Denayer will be 3rd choice CB and Lopes will replace Milner, both plenty of gametime available for the pair.

We don't want to throw them in and be relying heavily on them at 18/19, ease them in.

Was run into the ground over the last three years and now looks understandably exhausted. The question now is whether he can regain the fitness and desire for another season. The more pressing question, though, is what the club thought it was doing with Maicon/Richards/Sagna.

The squad needs world class signings.

Instead of spending £100m on overrated English players like Wilshere, Barkley and Sterling to fill the homegrown quota why don't we consider promoting EDS players e.g.

Lopes
Pozo
Angelino
Maffeo
Garcia
Barker
Evans

This way we still have all of our transfer budget to spend on top class players e.g.

Ricardo Rodriguez
Alex Sandro
Luis Gaya
W. Carvalho
Isco
Marco Veratti
Marco Reus
Felipe Anderson

We need a total overall, spend big and take FFP on
